Goodiebox review

As the holidays are approaching it is almost time for the presents that are longing to be opened near the Christmas tree. But that’s still a two month wait and therefore it is time to reward ourselves a little. With subscription boxes it is always a surprise what will be in it, which provides the ‘feeling of opening a present’ each month all over again.

Today I will be unboxing the Goodiebox which is a monthly subscription for beauty related items. The review will be on the October edition, but you are still able to join for the Month of November!

Ever since I became pregnant I stopped wearing make-up and 90% of my beauty routine for 9 months, with the exception of a bit mascara during the holidays. After I had my beautiful little girl I slowly started using cosmetics and skincare again, therefore this box comes in handy as I can try what my skin likes right now.

 

The October edition has the GIRLBOSS theme and looks as following:

 

I love the way the box looks and that is opens as a drawer. I love boxes like these and keep them to store small items or memories. The box contains a total of 5 items of which 4 are skincare and 1 beauty related.

The skincare items are a moisture sheet mask, pore correct cream, anti-aging emulsion and an eye cream. The beauty item is a highlighter brush.

So far I have only tried the eye cream and anti-aging emulsion. I loved the emulsion as it left my skin feeling very soft and moisturised. The Eye crème was very surprising as it smells great and provides a good moisture below the eyes.

    I don’t remember about Bluebox but love that there are so many things to try out in the box. Glad you enjoyed the Mesauda and Nivea products! It is nice to have a moisturized face even if you took off your makeup :).
